Limited Edition Resident Evil 5 Flash Drive

This Chainsaw flash drive was originally bundled with the very pricey Resident Evil 5 for the Xbox 360. Of course, not everyone that bought the bundle wanted to hang onto the limited edition flash drive. So instead of storing their own files on the drive they’re posting them on eBay. Frankly, I’m not sure why anyone would want to get rid of the chainsaw, Anyway its cool for the rest of us. That works out perfectly for those that can’t afford the limited edition $100 bundle. The bundle itself would likely be worth the price since it also includes a 3 DVD feature about the making of the game. It’s hard saying what people will post their drive for on eBay, but likely they’ll stick within the same price range as this one. At least one has already been posted for a decent price. You can find the 2GB drive for $22 on eBay.

Wall-E Computer Case MOD

Everyone who watched Wall-E when they went to see it in theaters last year should have enjoyed it. After it came out there were lots of different homemade Wall-E’s floating around the internet. However, this Wall-E case mod definitely takes the cake.

Apparently some Russian guy went and saw the movie, and decided that he absolutely had to have a Wall-E computer. He’s a pretty cool little robot, so I can understand putting in a little effort and making something decent looking. However, this guy went the whole nine yards. He flawlessly fashioned the entire thing from sheet metal.

Portable Entertainment Pack - I call it PEP

Chinavision's CVFH-N03-4G may not have the catchiest titles, but it does boast an impressive array of emulators to satisfy your on-the-go retro gaming needs -- although we imagine those tiny shoulder buttons would prove irksome after a while.

Support includes NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy Advance, SNK Neo-Geo and Capcom arcade systems CPS1 and CPS2 -- sorry, no love for Atari 2600 or Commodore 64, here -- all accessible through a menu that in no way, shape, or form resembles Sony's Xross Media Bar. It also plays MP3, MPEG5, FLAC, WMV, AVI, and a few other audio / video formats, and reportedly can function as an e-book reader with text to speech capabilities -- y'know, just in case there weren't enough entities peeved at it being a beacon for ROMs.

As for hardware, we're looking at a 2.8-inch QVGA LCD, 4GB internal memory, a mini-SD card slot, and AV out for the television. Buy one for $87.31, three for $83.82 apiece, or if you're feeling generous, pick up 50 for a more generous, undisclosed discount.

A shoe That grows as you grow

One thing about having kids is that they outgrow their shoes more often than they wear them out. So, it is with great interest that I’ll be following these new INCHworm trainers which promise to grow with kids up to one full shoe size.

Using a technology called “iFit,” (what, is Apple an investor?!), the INCHworm has an accordion like middle which can be pulled out after pushing a button release. Then, wearers can pull out by the toe in ½ size increments. While pulling out to extend the size, there is a counter in the heal which ticks off the size change. But built into the heal is bound to break it before it can properly keep track. Regardless, this translates to essentially having three pairs of shoes before having to replace them, giving Junior plenty of time to wear the shoes down a tad more before outgrowing them. In fact, designers promise that these shoes will take the toughest playground abuse kids have to offer and last three to six months longer than the average tennis shoe. The INCHworm also has another advantage … if your kid has one foot larger than the other, which is fairly common, the shoe’s can be adjusted accordingly thereby making for a far more comfortable fit.

The INCHworms are available in Great Britain now through distributor Fat Shoes Day and are available in three styles for kids aged three to ten. Cost is a tad pricey upfront, though, at $106 US.
