Video is the next big thing in the web content sphere and is all set to come to the PS3 this summer, at least this is what the LA Times reported on the 21st of this month. The PS3 users might be able to download videos, movies and even TV shows with Sony’s new online service. The LA Times also reported that Sony is in talk with a number of studios for hosting and sharing content for this video download service. All this will make the Sony PS3 a complete entertainment device as a few million PS3’s are already being used by gamers worldwide. By this service, Sony aims to sell entertainment content to all these gamers to bolster it’s huge entertainment business. This service could also be in response to Microsoft’s Live Sense service that aims to integrate the Windows Operating system, Windows Live and Windows Mobile service. Till Sony makes an official announcement, all we can do is to wait.
